The 2nd Training Camp was due to be held in January, but unfortunately we had to rearrange it due to the snowstorm that engulf the UK during Dec/Jan. So instead, we held it on the last weekend in March, 26th – 28th, at the County Campsite, Linnet Clough.

We made full use of the excellent facilities that Linnet has to offer, including Climbing, Archery, Shooting, and High Ropes. The leaders also put on a variety of other activities to keep everyone busy, and to allow the Troops to start to work together.

Each Troop camped on it’s own, and was (for the most part) self sufficient. When on the Jamboree, each of the Troops will be camping on a Sub-Camp surround largely by Japanese Scouts.
