Looking Forward to Japan

I can’t believe 12 months have past so quickly, since visiting the Japan road show, and begging my parents to let me go. I am really looking forward to the trip especially staying with the Japanese family. I am a little worried about eating the food and using chop sticks, if all fails I am sure there is a Mc Donalds close by! The bathing and washing routines sound very unusual and wearing different slippers around the house, but it will be fantastic to experience their culture and way of life.

I cant wait to camp near Mount Fuji and take some great photos. It will be amazing to meet lots of different scouts for all over the world.

I am soooo excited and I am on the final countdown!!

Looking forward to Japan

I am looking forward to new experiences and to have been given a once in a life time opportunity to attend the 15th Nippon Jamboree.

To meet new people and gain an insight into the Japenese culture, tasting different foods (although I may go hungrey as I cannot use chopsticks having tried on numerous occasions!!!!), sights, smells, and having the opportunity to explore the Country.

I am exited about travelling to Japan with the explorers to experience the magnificant sight of Mount Fuji and to actually camp at its base and to take part in all the activities.

I am a little apprehensive about staying with a Japanese family (there is so much etiquette to remember!!!)

Just having difficulty managing to pack everything in my suitcase and staying within the 20Kg limit!!!!
