Contingent Messages – 7th Aug
These will be the last messages that we can send and receive, before we arrive back in the UK. We leave the site in the early hours on Monday, and simply won’t have time on Tuesday and Wednesday with two very busy days in Disneyland and Tokyo.

Havin a great time here in japan, just arrived at final youth hostil thing, its really posh, and goin to tokyo disney 2moz. had a great time at jambo and homestay. lookin forward to comin home to see you all but dont wont to leave, the weather is absolutely boiling. mum and dad, did u go to art gallery to see my work? if so was the reception thingy it good and did i miss much?

Just thought I’d send a quick message as this is the last chance before you come home (hope you get it).
Loved seeing the photos of you working the crowd at the jamboree opening, hoping I can have copies of all these pics you’re in. You look like its still loads of fun and you’re having a ball. We’re really missing you and can’t wait to see you and hear all about everything when you get home. Eve is counting the days down now, hopefully your room should be finished in time!!
Anyway, enjoy the bullet train and disney (will you actually go on any rides?) can’t wait to see you!

Hi Cam, I don’t know if this message will get to you, as it seems very busy for you all. Noticed on the website that Wind are going up Mt Fuji, that should be awesome. Hope you have still got some dry clothes left for when you leave the Jamboree. You missed sending me a message for my birthday but I’ll let you off as long as you bring me something nice back (and I don’t mean your washing). Thanks for all the hard work that must have gone in to keeping the web site up to date with all the wonderful photos and videos. I’ve spent many a happy hour playing “where’s Wally” i mean “where’s Ryan” every morning before breakfast. Missing you loads Ryan (we all are) can’t wait to see you and hear all about it. Thanks to everyone involved in keeping this site up to date. It has been a fascinating insight into what was going on in Japan. The first thing we have done every morning is to log on and have a look at what’s been happening. The photos have been stunning and to read the messages left by explorers and parents has made us feel very involved. To think that when we waved goodbye we thought we would have no communication for 3 weeks and yet we have got to enjoy the experience alongside our children. Once again a HUGE thank you to you all.

I showed Nan the sight yesterday she was delighted to see you, especially when you were laughing and smiling(as usual she had a few tears)!!!!!

hI Beth It was good to talk to you this morning even if we were in tescos at the time- it was your dad who wanted to shop not me. Every one here is fine, Grandma and Grandad keeping up to date with what has been happening. First thing I do every morning is log on to check messages- it’s been fantastic following all the adventures and the photos are brilliant- thank you to whoever has helped on the web it’s been amazing. Hope you’re not suffering after your hike up Mount Fuji. What a fabulous experience. Hope you got some good photos. We went to watch Everton v Wolfsburg,unfortunately we got beat but we did see lots of the players and Jacob got David Moyes autograph, we also chased them on their coach up the autobahn!Enjoy Tokyo Disney and the ambassadors reception and we’ll see you very soon.
