GME County 6-A-Side Tournament

GME County 6-A-Side Tournament

when: Sat 8th May

venue: CROSSROADS PITCHES (NEAR BOLSHAW SCHOOL, HEALD GREEN, SK8 3LW)

time: 1.30pm to approx 6pm

The Japan 2010 team are organising a County wide, Section wide, 6 a-side football competition. We will have separate competitions for each section (Beavers, Cubs, and Explorers), along with a penalty competition for section as well.

To encourage new young people to try out Scouting, and see some of the benefits of joining one of the large youth organisations in the world, we are allowing existing members to “Bring a Buddy” to the tournament. Up to 50% of the team can be non-scouts, e.g. Teams of 6/7 can have 3 non-scout members in their team, Teams of 8 can have 4 scout members in their team.

We are accepting entries from both complete teams, and from individuals who don’t have enough players to form a complete team – or who welcome the challenge of playing with 5 people you don’t know.

Individually £5 per player (Players split into teams on the day)
Or £30 a team (6 players & up to 2 subs)

Footwear

All Beavers must wear trainers ONLY – no boots!

For those of Cub age or older who do not have boots of their own, we will have boots available for hire for the day at a cost of only £1.
